Biography

Ms. Liu received her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetic from the University of Sydney in Australia.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Ms. Liu worked in inpatient and outpatient settings at prestigious hospitals and clinics such as Concord Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Balman Hospital, and Liverpool Hospital in Australia as well as other famous institutions in Beijing.

Ms. Liu is a comprehensive clinical dietitian. Her areas of interest and specialty include nutrition therapy for obstetrics, pediatrics, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, overweight issues and obesity, cancer, and enteral/parenteral nutrition. She is also skilled in weight management and nutrition for fitness.

In addition to her clinical work, Ms. Liu has participated in numerous nutrition publications. As a well-known nutrition science writer, she is a contracted expert consultant and nutrition columnist for many media outlets and she has involved in the recording of many health programs on many television stations. She has served as the editor-in-chief of several maternal and child books and has also published her work.

Ms. Liu is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) licensed by the Dietitians Association of Australian (DAA) and a Registered Dietitian (RD) licensed by the Chinese Nutrition Society (CNS). She holds a postgraduate certificate in pediatric nutrition from the Boston University School of Medicine and a diploma in clinical nutrition and parenteral and enteral nutrition training from Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH). She is also an expert member of the Professional Committee of Complementary Food for Infants of China Nutrition and Health Food Association.
