BJU Psychological Health Center Talk Addresses How to Cope with Tragedy test
On March 8, Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 lost contact with ground control, disappeared, and eventually was declared to have crashed at sea. Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics (BJU) understands that this kind of event can be especially difficult for those with family and friends impacted by the incident, but also for the community as a whole.
The evening of March 13, the BJU Psychological Health Center provided a presentation and question and answer session for the general public about how to talk about difficult topics with family, friends, and other loved ones, as well as how to address complicated feelings that may arise.
The bilingual talk held in the BJU Building 2 Fifth Floor Auditorium was presented by Psychologists Dr. Robert Blinn, Dr. George Hu, and Dr. Chang Wei with over 60 attendees from the local and international communities.
