Intensive Care Unit

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at BJU is for patients who are in need of special monitoring and intervention. This includes those with significant risk of losing function of vital organs, such as the heart. Our ICU is staffed by doctors and nurses who are specially trained and experienced in critical medicine. As part of BJU’s full line of inpatient hospital services, our ICU is equipped with ventilators, pressure and heart function monitors, as well as support systems for respiration and other processes. Our facilities also include negative-pressure rooms for even greater infection control.
