Biography

Dr. Lin received her medical degree from Capital University of Medical Sciences (CMU) in 2000. She then received her master’s degree in Otolaryngology from the same university in 2007. She completed her residency and her fellowship training in otolaryngology at Beijing Tong Ren Hospital, an affiliated teaching hospital of CMU, and in a Beijing institute for otolaryngology. Dr. Lin was a research fellow at the upper airway disease lab led by Professor Bachert in Ghent University in Belgium in 2015. In 2015, as part of her continuing medical training, she was a visiting clinician at the Stanford University Department of Otolaryngology and at the Mayo Clinic, both in the United States.

Dr. Lin worked as an attending otolaryngologist in the department of otolaryngology at Beijing Tongren Hospital until she joined Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics in 2011. She has over fifteen years of clinical ENT experience. Dr. Lin is capable of many ENT emergencies and is also very experienced in performing ENT operations including adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, and functional endoscopic sinus surgery. She also routinely treats outpatients who present with issues such as adenoidal hypertrophy, obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS), and chronic sinusitis.

Dr. Lin has published book chapters and medical papers of her research. She has also worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) on a project to prevent hearing impairment in China. In 2008, Dr. Lin joined the polyclinic in the Beijing Olympic Village to provide medical services.
