Yonggang LIU

Dr. Yonggang Liu received his master degree majoring in otolaryngology from Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2006, tutored by the renowned otologist Professor Gong Shusheng. Dr. Liu was reward as one of the “National Key Talents in Western Medicine” in 2019.
Dr. Liu completed his medical training in the Beijing Hospital of the Ministry of Health between 1998 and 2003. From 2003 to 2010, he worked in the Department of Otolaryngology at Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University under the supervision of Professor Zhang Qiuhang, the famous otorhinolaryngology-skull base surgery specialist. In 2010, Dr. Liu was invited to join Beijing You’an Hospital of Capital Medical University, as the founder of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Before joining United Family Healthcare, he worked in the Eye Hospital of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Liu has over 20 years of clinical experience and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases in otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery. He can independently perform common surgeries in otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery.
Specializations include:
1. Allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal polyps, nasal septum deviation, benign and malignant tumors of nasal cavity and sinuses, and nasal endoscopic surgery;
2. Pediatric otolaryngology, pediatric tonsil and adenoid surgery;
3. Diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of snoring, laryngeal microsurgery (surgery of vocal cord nodules, polyps and precancerous lesions of vocal cord);
4. Hearing impairment and vertigo;
5. Diagnosis and treatment of nasal-ocular and nasal-cranial base related diseases;
6. Complementary Chinese medicine treatment of ENT diseases.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Liu has published over 40 academic papers in prominent medical journals.
