Biography

Dr. Huo graduated from Peking University Health Science Center. Dr. Huo completed her residency in the Department of Neurology at Peking University People’s Hospital in 2008. She went to Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea to participate in an international physician training program and studied in the Movement Disorders Group of the Department of Neurology. From 2014 to 2015, Dr. Huo studied sleep medicine at the Sleep Center of Cleveland Hospital in the United States, especially the cognitive behavioral therapy technology for insomnia(CBT-I).
Dr.Huo has over 20 years of clinical experience and is currently employed in the Department of Neurology at Peking University People’s Hospital. Since 2015, she has focused on CBT-I and has accumulated much experience in the diagnosis and treatment of acute/chronic insomnia(including difficulty falling asleep, waking up early, waking up many times during the night, dreaminess, light sleepiness, daytime sleepiness, etc), Dr.Huo has in-depth research and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson’s disease, dizziness, headache, atherosclerosis and other fields.
She also accumulated rich experience in chronic disease accompanied insomnia, postoperative insomnia, menopausal insomnia, and adolescent sleep rhythm disorders. Dr. Huo is also committed to popularizing sleep knowledge(WeChat public account“Focusing on Insomnia” and leading clinical projects related to insomnia(”Efficacy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Insomnia”, “Efficacy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Insomnia in Emergency Shift Nurses of Three Peking University Hospitals, etc “).
