Wenzhu MA

Dr. Wenzhu Ma graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1983 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Medicine. Dr. Ma has been teaching in the School of Acupuncture-Moxibustion and Tuina, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, for nearly 40 years since graduation, engaging in clinical, teaching, and scientific research of acupuncture and moxibustion of Chinese medicine. In 2003, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture-Moxibustion and Tuina.

Dr. Ma is a Professor at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Director of the Clinical Department of Acupuncture-Moxibustion and Tuina, Chief Physician and clinical teaching teacher of Guo Yi Tang Chinese Medicine Clinic and the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Hospital, the standing committee member of the Pain Branch of China Association of Chinese Medicine, and a member of China Association of Acupuncture-Moxibustion.

Dr. Ma is good at using traditional treatments such as acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to recuperate the body and mind as a whole. Main treatments include neurological headache, trigeminal neuralgia, sciatica, cervical spondylosis, scapulohumeral periarthritis, joint pain, muscle strain, and other pains; facial paralysis, cold, cough, asthma, stomachache, diarrhea, constipation, and other internal medicine diseases; gynaecological diseases such as irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea and pre-pregnancy and postpartum conditioning, herpes zoster, neurodermatitis dermatological diseases; sub-health diseases such as insomnia and chronic fatigue; weight loss, body shaping, skin care, etc.; and dietary therapy guidance and other methods to relieve the main symptoms of tumor patients.

In the past 10 years, Dr. Ma has published more than 20 papers in prominent medical journals such as Acupuncture Research. Some of the papers have been rated as excellent papers at international conferences such as the World Congress of Chinese Medicine.
