Ran DUAN

Dr. Duan received his Bachelor’s degree in Acupuncture and Massage from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2006. From 2006 to 2015, he studied and practiced the theories and techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) orthopedics, Emei Linji rehabilitation, Structural Dynamic Therapy (SDT), as well as Advanced BioStructural Correction (ABC).
With over 16 years of outpatient work and active daily interactions and treatment of patients, Dr. Duan has accumulated a wealth of clinical experience. He is skilled in the TCM treatment of common orthopedic diseases. He incorporates a blend of approaches, styles, and treatment modalities to find the most helpful treatment for each individual patient.

Before joining United Family Healthcare, Dr. Duan worked in the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Orthopedics in the Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Beijing specializing in the diagnosis and TCM treatment of common orthopedic diseases, spine related diseases, various cervical spondylosis, the non-pharmacological conservative treatment of lumbar disc herniation, knee joint osteoarthritis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, tenosynovitis, and acute and chronic ankle injury. He has done in-depth research and practice of sports rehabilitation, sports physiotherapy, structural treatment and and posture correction.

Dr. Duan Ran is the very first certified physician of ABC therapy in Mainland China.
