Dezhao WANG

Dr. Wang received his medical degree from the Norman Bethune Medical College, Jilin University in 1999. In 2006, he received his Master’s degree in Beijing Tongren Hospital, Capital Medical University under Professor Hu Dayi, a famous cardiovascular disease expert. From 2008 to 2011, he studied under Professor Hua Qi in Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University and was later awarded a doctorate in Cardiovascular Medicine. From 1999 to 2002, Dr. Wang completed the standardized training for resident physicians in the department of cardiology in Beijing Mentougou District Hospital, and rotated through various clinical departments.

In 2002, he studied coronary intervention and cardiac pacing electrophysiology in Beijing Tongren Hospital and in 2003, Dr. Wang first carried out coronary angiography, stent implantation, pacemaker implantation and radiofrequency ablation in Mentougou District in Beijing. In the first half of 2008, he received further training in Beijing Fuwai Hospital and mastered the techniques of interventional diagnosis and treatment of complex coronary heart disease. In 2015, Dr. Wang, as a representative of the Chinese medical team, spent six months in the San Fernando General Hospital in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Wang served in the cardiology clinic in Beijing Friendship Hospital. He is skilled in managing conditions related to cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, dyslipidemia, coronary heart disease, angina, acute myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathy, and valvular heart diseases. He is also an expert in coronary intervention and temporary and permanent coronary pacing techniques. He is also an associate professor and postgraduate tutor in the cardiology department of Capital Medical University.

Dr. Wang has over 20 years of clinical experience, has participated in several scientific research projects, has published several articles in prominent medical journals, is an active editor and reviewer for many medical publications, and is a member of various medical associations.

Dr. Wang speaks both English and Mandarin.
