Yunfeng YAO

Dr. Yao Yunfeng received his Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Medicine from Beijing Medical University (previously Peking University Health Science Center), later earning his PhD in Oncology from Peking University. In 2007, he had the pleasure of studying abroad in France at the Hautepierre University Hospital for surgical oncology studies.

Dr. Yao has over 15 years of experience in colorectal cancer research. Prior to joining Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, he worked at Beijing Cancer Hospital, where he was promoted to the role of Deputy Director of Disease Control and Prevention. His extensive clinical experienced is coupled with a specialization in the preoperative treatment of colorectal cancer, surgical and clinical pathology, and the diagnosis and treatment of metastatic tumors.

Dr. Yao has published various articles in medical journals in China and internationally, and has the distinction of winning numerous awards, including the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award in 2008 and the Chinese Medical Association Fourth and Sixth Paper Award in 2012.
