Wenxian LIU

Dr. Liu Wenxian graduated from Capital Medical University with a medical master’s degree. She also trained at the University Central Hospital of Liege, Belgium, and at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston (USA).

Dr. Liu started her career at Beijing Anzhen Hospital where she eventually became a chief attending physician. She is currently the director of the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) in the Cardiology Department, where she has gained extensive experience in clinical diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of heart disease as well as performing emergency intervention procedures on high-risk heart disease patients. Her clinical interests include coronary heart disease and systematic treatments for critically-ill patients with heart failure. Her research interests include the treatment of critically-ill patients with coronary heart disease and anticoagulant systems for the treatment of chronic heart failure.

Dr. Liu has published more than 30 cardiology articles in Chinese medical journals and has edited several cardiology books.
