Biography

Dr. Dai graduated from Peking University Health Science Center in 2010 and was awarded a doctorate in medicine.

She worked at Peking University Sixth Hospital, where she completed her residency training in psychiatry in 2013 and began to serve as an attending physician. During her time at Peking University Sixth Hospital, Dr. Dai developed expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of common mental health issues in children and adults (including anxiety and depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, dementia, and alcohol and substance abuse). She also received training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and hypnotherapy.

In 2015, Dr. Dai began to work in Singapore as a psychiatrist. She was responsible for outpatient and inpatient work in the Institute of Mental Health, Children and Adolescents Department for a long time and specializing in the management of various mental health problems in children and adolescents (such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual impairments, Tourette’s syndrome, impulse control disorder, anxiety, depression, social phobia, and adjustment disorders).

In September 2021, Dr. Dai returned to China and served as the Director of the Children and Adolescents Mental Health Center at comprehensive hospital.

In 2024, Dr. Dai joined Beijing United Family Hospitals & Clinics as the Deputy Director of the Mental Health Department for Children and Adolescents.

Dr. Dai is a member of the UK Royal College of Psychiatrists. She has 16 years of clinical experience, especially in working with children and young people, as well as their families and schools.
