Shuang LIU

Dr. Liu received her medical degree from Beijing Medical College (Peking University Health Science Center) in 1983. She was promoted to chief physician in pulmonary medicine in 2001 and then became a professor at Capital Medical University two years later. Dr. Liu rotated through inpatient and outpatient wards and developed expertise in managing conditions ranging from common to severe diseases.

Before joining UFH, Dr. Liu served at the Peking University International Hospital Pulmonary & Critical Care Department and Beijing An Zhen Hospital (Capital Medical University) as an expert in pulmonary diseases.

Dr. Liu has over 30 years of clinical experience. She specializes in the treatment and diagnosis of chronic coughs, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary nodules, pulmonary infections, and pulmonary embolism. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Liu published in prominent medical journals including the “Chinese Journal of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases” and “CHEST.”

Dr. Liu is board certified by the American College of Chest Physicians and is a member of the Chinese Pulmonary Medicine Association.
