Biography
Dr. Zhang received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Peking University Health Sciences Center. He completed his residency and attending physician training in respiratory medicine and critical care medicine at Peking University First Hospital, and now serves as a Master students’ training supervisor.
Dr. Zhang is an Associate Chief Physician, currently working for the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine at Peking University First Hospital. Dr. Zhang also works part-time at Beijing United Family Hospital. He has extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and treating various critical respiratory diseases, especially the diagnostic and therapeutic use of bronchoscopy and the emergency treatment of critical pulmonary diseases.
Dr. Zhang is a member of the Technical Expert Group of Respiratory Bronchoscopy of the National Health Commission, a member of the Pleural and Mediastinal Respiratory Diseases sector of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Standing Committee of Bronchoscopy and Interventional Treatment sector of the Beijing Medical Association, a chief member of the Bronchoscopy Committee of the Beijing Cancer Prevention and Control Research Association, and a member of the Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Expert Committee of the National Telemedicine and Connected Health Center.
Dr. Zhang was previously a visiting scholar at Christchurch Hospital in New Zealand, the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Australia, the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in the United States, and the British Columbia Cancer Agency in Canada.
