CHEN, Dixiang

Dr. Dixiang Chen received his medical degree from the First Military Medical College in Guangzhou. He was awarded a medical master’s degree in 1995 and a doctorate in in Surgery in 2003 from the PLA Postgraduate Medical School in Beijing.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Chen worked in the PLA General Hospital for nearly 30 years. He is a specialist in pediatric surgery. He has been working in the field of laparoscopic surgery since 1999. In 2017, he completed training in robotic surgery procedures at Hong Kong Chinese University, pioneering some complex procedures, including for stage IV neuroblastoma. In the past two years, he has published three SCI papers.

Dr. Chen speaks Mandarin and English.
