Biography

Dr. Yang received his master’s degree from China Medical University in 1993. He received further training at Ehime University in Japan, and at UC Davis (University of California, Davis) as a scholar.

Dr. Yang has more than 30 years of clinical experience. He specializes in minimally invasive treatments guided by imaging technology for issues such as resistant postherpetic neuralgia (shingles pain), headaches, trigeminal neuralgia (facial pain), allergic rhinitis, cancer pain, and joint and soft tissue pain.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Yang worked at the Anesthesiology and Pain Management Clinic at Peking Union Medical College Hospital for 10 years, and then at the Pain Management Center at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital.

From 2013 to 2014, Dr. Yang served as the deputy chair of the pain clinic at the People’s Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. During this tenure, he gained the utmost respect of his colleagues and patients, and even received a local government award for his work there.

Dr Yang is an executive member of the Beijing Association for the Study of Pain, Vice Chair of the Spinal and Joint Disease Association, Commissioner of the Chinese Association for the Study of Pain, and an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Pain Medicine.

Dr Yang published more than 20 articles about pain management in famous medical magazine both in China and abroad and contributed to 10 books.
