Yi ZHANG

Dr. Zhang Yi obtained his doctorate degree from Capital Medical University. Dr. Zhang has 25 years experience in surgical and multidisciplinary treatment of thoracic diseases. He specializes in robotic and video-assisted thorascopic minimally invasive surgeries for the treatment of lung cancer, esophageal cancer, tumors in the heart and lung cavities, and for neuromuscular diseases such as myasthenia gravis.

Dr. Zhang is an institutional Principal Investigator of China’sThoracic andCardiac Surgery Committee,Chair of the Youth Thoracic Surgery Committee, and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). He currently is leading and directingseveral national studies in China, and is the author of over 30 academic articles and publications in leading medical journals.
