Biography

Dr. Yang graduated from Capital Medical University in 1999 and later received her master’s degree in 2002. She obtained her doctorate from Peking University Health Science Center in 2008. In 2013, Dr. Yang went to Washington University in St. Louis to receive professional training in ultrasound technology.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Yang worked at Peking University Third Hospital. She has over 20 years of clinical experience. She specializes in acute and chronic pain management, providing effective pain management solutions for a range of chronic pain, including neck, shoulder, back, joint, arthritis, headache, and cancer pain.

Dr. Yang learned from Professor Wang Yongzhou, the inventor of cheek acupuncture, and is expert at applying it to treat a variety of diseases, including:

  1. Acute and chronic pain, such as lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, postherpetic neuralgia, pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, postoperative pain syndrome, perinatal pain, post-stroke pain, trigeminal neuralgia, and facial pain.
  1. Various diseases related to neuroregulation, such assequelae after acerebrovascular accident, facioplegia, anaphylactic rhinitis, asthma, tinnitus, functional abdominal pain, abdominal distension, visceral pain, dizziness, adolescent scoliosis, torticollis, poor postpartum lactation, limb numbness and pain related to chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and long COVID.
  1. Mental and somatic disorders, such assleep disorders, emotional problems, and functional somatic syndrome.

In 2024, Dr. Yang’s project of cheek acupuncture for pain management was approved by the National Health Commission and was named a “key promotion project of health technology.”

At the same time, Dr. Yang also specializes in anesthesia management for high-risk, critical, and elderly patients. She has extensive experience in cardiothoracic, general, obstetric, gynecological, orthopedic, neurosurgery anesthesia, labor analgesia, and intraoperative echocardiography.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Yang has published more than 10 articles across several prominent medical journals and participated in multiple academic conferences.
