Lecanemab Treatment

In 2020, there were 15.07 million dementia patients in China aged 60 and above, of which Alzheimer’s disease amounts to 9.83 million.

Diagnosis and Treatment Services

Based on a treatment plan from a neurologist, Lecanemab may be prescribed.

Treatment using Lecanemab is done over a period of 18 months, with an inpatient observation infusion every two weeks.

Observation Infusion

Observation infusion services include hospitalization fees and related costs, nursing fees, infusion fees, and other diagnosis and treatment-related expenses during hospitalization, excluding drug fees for the Lecanemab injection and other expenses caused by adverse drug reactions or emergencies.

Clinic Follow-up

The Neurology Department team and the inpatient department will evaluate whether hospitalization or observation is required for each infusion based on the individual patient’s condition to evaluate the disease treatment and medication safety timely. To better ensure the patient’s safety, it is usually recommended to have a follow-up visit once a month for the first three months; if there are no serious adverse reactions afterward, an outpatient follow-up visit can be conducted once every three months.
