SHENG Li

Dr. Sheng Li graduated from Beijing Medical University in 1995 with Master Degree in Clinical Medicine. His tutor was Professor Xu Youxin, under whom Dr. Sheng learned psychopathology and neuroses. In 1999, Dr. Sheng received his PhD under the direction of Professor Shen Yucun; his field of study was Psychosomatic Medicine with a dissertation on exploring unexplained chest pain. Following this, he was a visiting scholar at Harvard University’s Department of Social Medicine. During this time, he learned illness narrative from Professor Arthur Kleinman. Since 2005, Dr. Sheng has cooperated with Professor Hu Dayi in providing outpatient psycho-cardiology services.

Dr. Sheng focuses on analyzing and solving mental health problems based on psychopathology, to give his patients localized psychological assistance during routine clinical service.

He is currently a member of the Standing Board of Psychotherapy and Counseling of the Chinese Mental Health Association, as well as a member of the Standing Committee of Cardiology in the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine.
