Mrs. Carlynn Sze received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences with an emphasis on Dietetics from the University of California in Berkeley in 1999. Mrs. Sze later earned her Master of Science degree in Nutrition Science from California State University in San Jose in 2002. She then completed Aramark Dietetic Internship at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California, in 2003.
Mrs. Sze went on to work as a clinical dietitian at Sequoia Hospital, Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, and as the lead pediatric clinical dietitian in Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She is a registered dietitian in the United States.
Mrs. Sze has extensive experience providing inpatient and outpatient nutrition assessment, intervention and education, including nutrition support for patients in the ICU and NICU. She has also provided instruction to medical residents, students and staff in the current trends of research in dietetics, including pediatric and neonatal medical nutrition therapy. Mrs. Sze specializes in diabetic management, pediatric conditions, nutrition support (including ICU), cardiac care, and counseling.
