Biography

Dr. Roger Hinson received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University of Atlanta (USA) in 1987 and is an alumnus of the University of South Carolina (USA) and Universidad Interamericana of Puerto Rico.

As research faculty and an instructor in upper cervical technique at Life University, he completed anatomical and clinical studies related to the upper cervical spine and chiropractic assessment procedures. His work has been published in scientific journals and presented on four continents in venues such as the annual meetings of the Society for Neurosciences and of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges, biannual conferences of the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association, biannual conferences of the World Federation of Chiropractic, the International Conference on Disease Correlated to the Spine, and numerous other meetings. He is a founding member and current president of the Chiropractor’s Association of China (CAC) and a chiropractic reviewer for the scientific journal Musculoskeletal Disorders.

Dr. Hinson served as attending chiropractor at the Sang Mu Olympic training center near Seoul, Korea, and at the Chinese Institute of Orthopedics & Traumatology in Beijing. He has been an annual participant in the National Institutes of Health-sponsored Research Agenda for Chiropractic (RAC) conferences since 1987. He has also chaired the Annual Upper Cervical Conference from 1995 to 2000. He is a contributor to the textbook Orthospinology Procedures, and his work with facial pain patients is discussed in Striking Back, the handbook of the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association.

Before coming to Beijing, Dr. Hinson maintained a private practice in Atlanta. He is licensed to practice chiropractic in Georgia (USA) and in Beijing.
