Burcu ÖZDEMIR

Dr. Özdemir is an experienced periodontist who graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in Turkey. She earned her PhD in Periodontology from Gazi University, where she focused on the treatment of periodontal intrabony defects using beta-tricalcium phosphate and platelet-rich plasma.

With over two decades of experience in private clinical practice and academia, Dr. Özdemir has served as a Professor in the Department of Periodontology at Gazi University. She has contributed extensively to leading journals, including the Journal of Clinical Periodontology and the Journal of Periodontology. Her international expertise has been enriched through fellowships at the Medical University of Vienna in Austria and Okayama University in Japan.

Dr. Özdemir is highly experienced in treating periodontal and peri-implant diseases, gingival recession, and mucogingival disorders. She is also proficient in advanced periodontal plastic surgeries, dental implant procedures, and both soft and hard tissue augmentations. Dr. Özdemir has collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatments.
