Huaxin ZUO

Dr. Zuo graduated from Harbin Medical University in 2012 and completed a three-year residency training in ophthalmology at the Department of Ophthalmology, Beijing Tongren Hospital (Capital Medical University), where she obtained her master’s degree in 2015. Awarded a scholarship from the Chinese government (financed by the Chinese Scholarship Council), she conducted her doctoral research at the University of Lübeck, Germany from 2015 to 2018, and received her MD in Ophthalmology.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Zuo served as an attending physician in the Department of Ophthalmology at Beijing Children’s Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University. There, she gained many years of extensive clinical experience in pediatric ophthalmology. She specializes in routine ophthalmic assessment and management, especially in ametropia, adolescent myopia, strabismus, amblyopia, dry eye, and other ocular surface diseases. Dr. Zuo has contributed to the edition and translation of four ophthalmology-related books and has published several academic papers in domestic and international medical journals.
