Biography

Dr. Zhao graduated from the Second Military Medical University in 1998 and received his Doctor of Medicine in surgery from the Changhai Hospital affiliated to the Second Military Medical University in 2006. Dr. Zhao is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of various sports medicine and joint surgery diseases from adult knee meniscus injuries and knee ligament injuries to aseptic necrosis of the femoral head, hip joint and knee joint, and is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric bone trauma.

Prior to joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Zhao worked in the PLA 88th Hospital for many years, specializing in arthroscopic meniscus surgery, arthroscopic cruciate ligament reconstruction, artificial joint replacement, and minimally invasive surgery for children’s fractures. Dr. Zhao has more than 20 years of clinical practice experience. In addition to focusing on joint surgery and sports medicine, Dr. Zhao also received specialized training at Tianjin Hospital.

In addition, Dr. Zhao has published several academic articles, and edited and translated several monographs. He is a member of the Spine Group of the Army Orthopedic Professional Committee, the Trauma Group of the Army Orthopedic Professional Committee, the 5th Physical Disability Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Rehabilitation Association for the Disabled, the 6th Osteoporosis Professional Committee of the Shandong Gerontology and Geriatrics Society, and the corresponding editorial board of the Chinese Journal of Orthopedic Surgery.
