Jimei Li

Dr. Li is a chief neurologist, professor, doctoral supervisor in department of neurology, Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University.
Dr. Li graduated from Capital Medical University in 1982 and has been engaged in clinical, scientific research and education of Neurology for the last 38 years. From 2004 to 2005, she studied and worked at South Carolina Medical University as a visiting scholar. Dr. Li is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular disease, nervous system infection, headache and dizziness, sleep disorders, peripheral neuropathy, dementia, etc. She has incredible clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult diseases of nervous system, also other diseases with nervous system complications.
Dr. Li has been leading 3 NSFC projects and 1 Beijing NSFC research project. She has published more than 100 academic papers in national and international journals. Currently, she is committee member of cerebrovascular group of Neurology Branch of Chinese Medical Association, vice chairman of cerebrovascular disease professional committee of Chinese Microcirculation Society, committee member of cerebrovascular disease group of Neurology Branch of Chinese Physicians Association, and vice chairman of Neurology Professional Committee of Beijing Women Physicians Association. Dr. Li is the editorial board member and reviewer of Chinese Journal of Geriatric Cardio Cerebrovascular Disease, Chinese Journal of Stroke, Chinese Journal of Neurology.
