Weina Zhao

Ms. Zhao studied biology and rehabilitation and received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology (with Distinction) and Rehabilitation (Dean’s Honor List) from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Ms. Zhao is a registered physiotherapist in British Columbia, Canada and a member of the British Columbia Physiotherapy College.

Ms. Zhao specializes in treating patients with sports injuries, pre-/post- orthopedic operations, spinal discomfort, postpartum women’s pelvic floor dysfunction and diastasis rectus abdominis, and helping patients in postpartum body function recovery by using manual therapy, exercises, and modalities.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Ms. Zhao worked as senior physiotherapist at various sports physiotherapy clinics in Vancouver and Beijing. Ms. Zhao also provided physiotherapy service to elite athletes from CBA, CSL, national track and field team, and national winter sports team.

Ms. Zhao has obtained multiple continuing education certificates such as the McKenzie treatment parts A/B/C, Maitland Mt-2, Uro-sante Women’s incontinence and dyspareunia, Herman and Wallance women’s health level I.
