CHEN, Jia-wei

Dr. Chen received his medical degree from Capital Medical University in 2006, and was later awarded a Master’s Degree in Medicine and a Medical Doctorate degree in 2009 and 2012, respectively, from Capital Medical University. Dr. Chen completed his training in the interventional diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease at Beijing Chaoyang Hospital in 2017, and developed expertise in managing conditions including hypertension, coronary heart disease, acute coronary syndrome, and heart failure.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Chen served at the Department of Cardiology in a private, tertiary Hospital in Hebei as an expert in cardiovascular disease treatment,  coronary angiography (CAG), and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI).

Dr. Chen has over 10 years of clinical and research experience, particularly in the relationship between glucose-lipid metabolism and coronary heart disease interventions. In addition to specializing in the treatment and diagnosis of cardiovascular disease, he has published more than ten academic papers in prominent domestic and international medical journals.

Dr. Chen is board certified by the National Health and Family Planning Commission on the Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment of Coronary Heart Disease and is a member of the China Interventional Therapeutics.
