Biography

Dr. Hao graduated from the Medical College of Shanghai Tongji University in 1998 and received her Doctor’s Degree from the Peking University Health Science Center in 2007. She has also received trainings from the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, the Department of Pulmonary Circulation at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, and the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology at St. Vincent’s Hospital affiliated with the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Dr. Hao has been working in the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology at the Peking University First Hospital since 2007 and has more than 20 years of clinical experience. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various rheumatic immune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, osteoarthritis and other types of arthritis, as well as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), dermatomyositis, Sjogren’s syndrome, systemic sclerosis, antiphospholipid syndrome, systemic vasculitis, and other connective tissue diseases. Dr. Hao also has extensive experience in immunological cause of abnormal pregnancy, connective tissue disease-related pulmonary hypertension and interstitial lung disease.

In addition, Dr. Hao has published academic articles as a first author in well-known medical journals in China and aboard, such as the European Respiratory Journal, Arthritis & Rheumatology, Rheumatology, Arthritis Research & Therapy, Lupus, Clinical Rheumatology, and the Chinese Journal of Rheumatology.

Dr. Hao is a member of the Asian Pacific Lupus Collaboration (APLC), a member of  the Rheumatology and Immunology branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Pulmonary Vascular and Interstitial Diseases sub-branch of the Rheumatology and Immunology branch of Chinese Medical Association, a director of the Chronic Disease Prevention branch of the National Association of Health Industry and Enterprise Management, a member of the Rheumatology branch of the Beijing Medical Association, a member of the Thrombosis and Hemostasis branch of the Beijing Medical Association, a member of the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology of Peking University, and a Vice Chairman of the Internal Medicine Professional Committee of Beijing Xicheng Medical Association.
