Biography

Dr. Huang graduated from Peking Union Medical College in 1989 and currently serves as an expert at Beijing Xuanwu Hospital Consultation Center for Complex Diseases. He has rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various common diseases of the nervous system and has extensive research experience studying the many challenges of rare diseases.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Huang worked at the General Hospital of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and Fuxing Hospital, affiliated with Capital Medical University, where he also taught on the topic of Neurology. Dr. Huang has more than 30 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various neurological diseases and emergency treatment for patients with critical illnesses, especially cerebrovascular disease, vertigo, neurodegenerative disease, neuromuscular disease, and epilepsy. He has been awarded the Military and Beijing Science and Technology Award three times.

Dr. Huang has published more than 100 papers in local and international journals and edited four monographs on nervous system diseases, including two on cerebrovascular diseases and epilepsy. Dr. Huang also participated in the preparation of the Journal of Epileptology and Electroneurophysiology and the Manual for Emergency Response to Public Health Emergencies. He has received six National Utility Patents and two National Invention Patents.

He is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Beijing Society of Neurology, the Vice-Chairman of the Beijing Vertigo Society, a member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Parkinson’s Disease Association, an expert on the Beijing Senior Title Selection , an expert on the Beijing Medical Accident Appraisal Committee, and a guest reviewer of the Neural Regeneration Research (English edition).
