Biography

Dr. Dai received her doctorate in medicine from the Peking University Health Science Center in 1995. In 2004, Dr. Dai was selected by State Education Commission to work in Toronto University as a visiting scholar for one year where she participated in a national research project on optic nerve damage in glaucoma. Later in 2007 she also spent some time working in the University of Frankfurt.
Before joining United Family Healthcare, Dr. Dai served in Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University as an expert and vice director in the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Dai is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of common and complicated ophthalmologic diseases, especially glaucoma including early diagnosis and management of refractory glaucoma.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Dai has published more than 40 papers in prominent medical journals, including the Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology, English language Chinese Medical Journal, the Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases, among others.
Dr. Dai is a member of the Chinese Medical Association and Canadian Ophthalmological Association, Beijing Municipal Association for Labor Ability Assessment and is also a member of Glaucoma Professional Committee of the Beijing Medical Association.
