Ms. Gao received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Auckland in 2007, and later received a degree of Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney in 2009.
Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Ms. Gao worked as a clinical dietitian at various tertiary hospitals in Australia, including Sydney Children’s Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital and Gosford Hospital.
Ms. Gao has over 7 years of clinical experience in nutrition assessment and management of patients across all age groups, over a range of clinical conditions and has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as in various Private Practices in Sydney. Her high level of knowledge and experience has been demonstrated in areas including Pediatrics, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Aged Care, Renal, Surgical, ICU and Endocrinology (Type 1 and II Diabetes). She has special interests in Pediatric Nutrition and dietary management for chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart diseases.
Ms. Gao is a current member of the Dietitian’s Association of Australia and an Accredited Practicing Dietitian.
