Qing Ivy FAN

Dr. Fan received her medical degree from Beijing Medical University in 1987, and stayed in the internal medicine department of the First Teaching Hospital of BMU for four years. She went to the USA for higher education in 1991 and received her PhD in Pharmacology from Loyola University Chicago in 1996. Afterwards, she joined the molecular cardiology department at Wayne State University in Michigan (USA) and focused on the study of the L-type calcium channel in cardiac myocytes, publishing her findings in multiple publications. She was the recipient of a research fellowship from the American Heart Association from 1997-1998. She went back to clinical medicine practice in 2002 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Trenton, New Jersey (USA) in 2005, where she rotated through inpatient and outpatient wards.

Dr. Fan has nearly 20 years of clinical experience. Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Fan worked in the internal medicine departments of multiple hospitals in Tennessee (USA), specializing in general practice and hospital medicine.

Dr. Fan is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
