Dr. Massip received her medical degree and her PhD in Psychiatry from Toulouse University in France.
She completed her residency at Toulouse Purpan University Hospital in 2016. Her experience includes providing inpatient treatment to patients with severe mental illnesses such as psychosis and severe mood disorders, as well as providing outpatient treatment for patients with anxiety disorders or addictions.
Dr. Massip’s academic and clinical work allowed her to develop competence in assessing and supporting families affected by mental health issues; her PhD thesis explored the most effective ways to support families with a member who suffered schizophrenia.
Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Massip completed training in pregnancy- and postpartum-related psychological and psychiatric disorders, as well as in early child-parent bounding. This has enabled her to support parents both at the maternity ward and at home.
Dr. Massip strongly believes in the complementarity of medication and psychotherapy in the improvement of mental health.
