Biography

Dr. Li received her medical degree from the Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences in 2000, and was awarded master degree in Digestive Medicine in 2003 from The First Hospital of Jilin University. She completed her residency in internal medicine and gastroenterology from 2003 to 2006 at Peking University Third Hospital. In 2006 Dr. Li received her doctoral degree from Peking University Third Hospital and served as the Associate Chief Physician in their gastroenterology clinic until 2015. She rotated through inpatient and outpatient wards and developed expertise in managing gastrointestinal diseases.

Dr. Li is an expert in diagnosis and treatment of common digestive diseases, frequently-occurring diseases and complicated and refractory diseases, especially in inflammatory bowel disease, colonic ulcers, and small intestinal diseases. She has extensive experience in gastrointestinal endoscopy for diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases, such as early gastrointestinal cancer screening and colonic cancer prevention, hemostasis therapies, removal of foreign bodies, polypectomies, and gastrostomy.

Dr. Li has over 10 years of clinical, research, and teaching experience. In addition, she is published in prominent medical journals, including Chinese Journal of Internal Medicine.
