Yu ZHEN

Dr. Zhen received her medical degree in 2001 from Capital Medical University and from 2001 to 2004 she completed her residency in Beijing Friendship Hospital, where she rotated through inpatient and outpatient wards and developed expertise in anesthesia technology and management. Dr. Zhen received her Masters degree in 2007 before attending Harvard Medical School in the United States as a senior visiting scholar in 2008. She received her PhD in 2010.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospitals and Clinics, Dr. Zhen served in the Beijing Friendship Hospital and has over 15 years of clinical experience. In addition to specializing in clinical anesthesia she has also focused her research on the relationship between clinical anesthesia and postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD). Dr. Zhen hosted and completed an item for the Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and an item for the Beijing excellent talents foundation in this area of study. She was included in the Beijing science and technology Star Program in 2013. Additionally, Dr. Zhen is published in prominent medical journals, including Anesthesiology.
