Attending Therapist, Physical Therapist
Ms. Xiong received her physical therapy degree in 2006 from Capital Medical University. She completed her residency at the China Rehabilitation Research Center (CRRC), where she rotated through inpatient and outpatient wards and developed expertise in managing conditions ranging from stroke, to spinal cord injury, to orthopedics. She has completed maternal health seminar series in Fortanasce and Associates Physical Therapy Center in the United States, and is certified as a special physiotherapist in pregnant and postpartum woman.
Before joining Beijing United Family Rehabilitation Hospital, Ms. Xiong served in the China Rehabilitation and Research Center. She was the primary physical therapist for juvenile amputees that were injured in Sichuan and other earthquakes. She also participated in a cooperative training program (hip replacement rehabilitation) between China and Japan. She is certified as a clinical instructor for physical therapy interns and students. She is also experienced in the rehabilitation of stroke, spinal cord injury, and joint replacement.
