Dr. Hu received her Medical Degree and Master degree in Pediatrics from Jiangxi Medical College in 2002 and 2005, respectively. She completed a residency in the Third People’s Hospital of Jiujiang in 2002, where she rotated between the Departments of Pediatrics, Emergency, and Neonatology. In 2005, Dr. Hu completed another residency at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University, where she rotated between sub-specialty teams including respiratory, hematology, neurology, nephrology, cardiology, pediatric ICU, NICU, and the Department of Emergency.
In 2008, Dr. Hu participated in the China-Canada International Training Program for Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the Department of Neonatology in the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University. Dr. Hu finished a Pediatric Fellowship at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University later in 2008 and a Neonatal Fellowship in 2009 at the IWK Health Center’s NICU in Canada
Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Hu worked in the Department of Pediatrics at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University doing neonatology work for the NICU. There she lead a team that managed hospitalized, critically ill infants, treating a wide range of diseases with a focus in extreme premature infants and those with acute renal failure.
Dr. Hu has extensive experience in neonatology and the care of preterm infants, including inpatient and outpatient care, and the diagnosis and treatment of a broad scope of diseases and disorders.
