Biography

Dr. Krippner completed his Medical Degree in 1978 after studying medicine at the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg and the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Germany. He received residency training in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology in different German hospitals before working as a volunteer doctor for 2 years in a district hospital in Tanzania. After his return to Germany in 1983, Dr. Krippner continued his residency program in General Practice, Radiology, Internal Medicine, and Tropical Medicine. He acquired a diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in 1985, and then a Master degree in Clinical Tropical Medicine at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 1987.

Dr. Krippner joined the medical service of the German Foreign Office in 1991, working as Regional Medical Officer based in Indonesia, Cameroon, Ghana, and China until he joined Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics in 2014.

Dr. Krippner uses his expertise in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine to offer personalized care to his patients, adults and children alike. With his medical experience in Asia and Africa, Dr. Krippner is familiar with infectious and tropical diseases endemic in those regions. Having traveled on all five continents, Dr. Krippner draws on a wealth of knowledge in which to advise travelers on both health risks and their prevention.

Dr. Krippner is board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Tropical Medicine, and Occupational Medicine. In addition, Dr. Krippner is certified to give advice and perform check-ups that follow German occupational health regulations for German companies overseas.
