Biography

Dr. Xu graduated from Capital Medical University in 1989 with a Master’s degree in pediatric orthopedics. After completing residency training in Beijing Children’s Hospital from 1991 to 1993, he completed his Fellowship training for pediatric orthopedics in Texas Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital and Dallas Orthopedic Center. From 2006 to 2010, Dr. Xu studied clinical orthopedics and obtained a doctorate in medicine from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Xu has more than 30 years experience in pediatric orthopedics and has done in-depth theoretical research and has rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases such as hip dysplasia, congenital malformation, limb fracture, cerebral palsy surgery, and spinal deformity in children.
Dr. Xu has edited or participated in the publication of eight books on pediatric orthopedics and has been published more than 30 times in both Chinese and international professional journals and magazines.
