Biography

Dr. Jia graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2002. She graduated from the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences with a Master’s Degree in 2009 and received a Doctor’s Degree in Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 2017. She obtained the Chinese National-Certificated Class 2 Psychological Consultant Certificate in 2015, the Health Management Certificate in 2018, the Psychotherapist Certificate in 2019, and participated in and assessed the “Transfer Training of Psychiatrists” in Beijing Anding Hospital.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, Dr. Jia served in the Wangjing Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and has over 17 years of clinical experience. Since Dr. Jia started her clinic visits in the Department of Psychology in 2016, she has had more than 4000 visits and has conducted tens of thousands of psychological assessments. He also completed more than 100 psychological group-building activities for military officers and soldiers, schoolteachers, hospital medical staff, community social workers, and other personnel and conducted nearly 2000 hours of case consultations and 100 hours of supervision and group supervision.

Dr. Jia has published six academic articles in national core journals as the first author or corresponding author, such as the Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has also led two projects and participated in six scientific research projects. Dr. Jia is also a member of the Beijing Psychological Intervention Association and Beijing Mental Health Association.

Dr. Jia specializes in the psychological intervention of insomnia, anxiety, bad mood, etc. she is experienced in using the sand table to help with children’s mood, concentration, and family relationship.
