Biography

Hospital (formerly Tianjin Orthopedics Hospital). He later received his Ph.D. from Tianjin Medical University. Dr. Ren completed his residency at Tianjin Hospital in 2011, where he rotated through all subspecialties in Orthopedics and developed expertise in managing all orthopedic conditions.
Before joining UFH, Dr. Ren worked at the Trauma Center of Tianjin Hospital as an orthopedic trauma surgeon. He received training in the United States and was qualified for MAKO robot-assisted total hip,  unicompartmental and total knee arthroplasty. He also completed his clinical fellowship at the Dept. of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the University of Hong Kong’s Queen Mary Hospital. Dr. Ren specializes in advanced trauma life support, adult and pediatric trauma orthopedics, hand surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of joint disorders, sports injury, and spine disorders. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ren also leads multiple projects within the hospital, such as 3D printing and robot-guided precision surgeries and their basic research.
Dr. Ren has 18 years of clinical experience. In addition to orthopedics and traumatology, Dr. Ren also completed basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) training from the American Heart Association. Furthermore, he completed the Chinese primary trauma care training and qualified as an instructor in 2014. Dr. Ren completed the American advanced trauma life support training and obtained qualifications in 2019. He also participated in medical support activities in manylocal and international sports events.

He has published more than ten medical papers in prominent domestic and international medical journals, including the Orthopedic Journal of China, Journal of Surgery, the Chinese Journal of Traumatology, Orthopedic Surgery, etc.
