Dr. Jin Zening received his medical degree from Xi’an Medical University where he did an internship in Internal Medicine. He then completed his master’s degree from the Cardiovascular Institute and Fu Wai Heart Hospital, an affiliate of Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) and the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS). He went on to complete a Ph.D. degree in Cardiology at the Capital University of Medical Sciences (Beijing). During his studies, he went abroad for training and research, first to the University of Melbourne (Australia), then to the University of Texas Medical Branch (USA).
Dr. Jin’s primary research focuses are in interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and the genetics of cardiology. He has edited and reviewed some Chinese medical journals and has been published in several journals. He has had more than 10 years of clinical experience and has treated more than 1000 cases of various heart diseases.
Before joining BJU in May 2011, he was an Associate Professor of Cardiology for graduate students at Capital Medical University.
