Biography

Dr. Liu Ming completed her medical degree at Tongren Medical College. She also completed continuing education medical courses offered by the Beijing Medical Bureau. She studied English for a year at Shanghai Medical University. Later, she was sponsored by the World Health Organization as a research fellow for functional endoscopic sinus surgery at the Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital in London. Dr. Liu performed her residency at Tongren Hospital (Beijing), working on general ENT issues and general ENT surgeries. She then became the attending ENT surgeon for six years at Tongren Hospital, focusing on nose and larynx surgeries. She went on to become the Vice Chief Rhinological Surgeon for the next eight years, performing over 1000 sinus surgeries that mainly consisted of functional endoscopic sinus surgeries. The next eight years after that saw Dr. Liu in the position of Chief Rhinological Surgeon. During this time, she focused her practice on minimally-invasive sinus surgeries and on early diagnosis and treatment of fungal sinusitis. Dr. Liu has published several articles in the Chinese Archives of Otolaryngological Head and Neck Surgery and in the Chinese Journal of Otorhinolaryngology.
