Dr. Tse Chungming received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto in Canada in 1977. Afterward, Dr. Tse pursued post-doctoral training at the University of Rochester (New York, USA) in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (Eastman Dental Center) and General Practice Residence (The Genesee Hospital) programs. He then worked as a flying dentist in Australia and New Zealand serving less privileged people in remote areas.
In 1984, Dr. Tse joined the University of Hong Kong Dental School as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Conservative Dentistry. Later, he was elected to be a Fellow at the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, as well as the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong. Dr. Tse returned to Canada in 1994 and established a successful private family practice.
While Dr. Tse’s proficiency covers a broad range of dental therapies, he has a special interest in dental implant therapy, full mouth reconstruction, and Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr. Tse helped found the Beijing International Dental Study Club, the first in China, for both local and expatriate dentists. Additionally, he is member of the Canadian Dental Association, Hong Kong Dental Association, the Academy of Osseointegtration (USA), the International College of Prosthodontists, and the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
