Dr. Huang received his medical degree in 2006. He then received his MPH (Master of Public Health) degree from the University of Hong Kong, School of Public Health in 2012. He completed his residency and his fellowship training in China and Prince of Wales Hospital Hong Kong, the teaching Hospital of Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 2014, Dr. Huang started pursuing his MPhil/PhD degree from the department of surgery (otolaryngology) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2017, Dr. Huang joined the DrPH (Doctor of Public Health) program at Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Huang worked as an otolaryngologist, associate professor, and associate director at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and at a Shenzhen ENT institute. He has over 12 years of clinical ENT experience. Dr. Huang is capable of dealing with many ENT emergencies and is also very experienced in performing ENT operations, including adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, and functional endoscopic sinus surgery. He also routinely treats outpatients who present with issues such as adenoidal hypertrophy, obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS), and chronic sinusitis.
Dr.Huang has multiple publications on his research.He is currently the reviewer of Cochrane Library(Oxford).He has elected as a Fellow of Royal Society for Public Health(RSPH) in United Kingdom in 2014,and he is also elected as Committee Member of Hong Kong University Public Health Society and Branch Chairmen.
Dr. Huang speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
