Biography

Dr. Ji received his bachelor of medicine from Peking University Health Science Center in 2003. He was awarded a PhD in Internal Medicine in 2008 from Peking University People’s Hospital. Dr. Ji completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Peking University People’s Hospital in 2008, where he rotated through inpatient and outpatient wards and developed expertise in managing conditions in the areas of respiratory disease, cardiology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, and nephrology. From December 2013 to November 2014, he went to Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands as a visiting scholar.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Ji served in the hematology department of Peking University People’s Hospital. He is an expert in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatment of general hematological diseases such as anemia, hemorrhaging, and leukemia. He specializes in the care of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) for patients with hematological malignancies or severe aplastic anemia, as well as the treatment of complications after HSCT. He is also experienced in the diagnosis and therapy strategy of invasive fungal disease (IFD) in immunocompromised patients, especially in patients who have undergone HSCT.

Dr. Ji has over 16 years of clinical experience. In addition, he has participated in the drafting and editing of the Chinese national guidelines regarding the diagnosis and treatment of IFD in patients with hematological diseases. He has taken part in several clinical trials with the Peking University Hematology Institute. Furthermore, he has published several articles in prominent medical journals, including the Chinese Journal of Internal Medicine.
