Ji ZHANG

Dr. Zhang Ji received his medical degree from Beijing Medical University (Peking University Health Science Center (PUHSC) in medical sciences, and was later awarded a PhD in Oncology from Peking University. He completed his residency in the Surgery Department of Peking University Cancer Hospital in the same year. From 2004 to 2006, Dr. Zhang was a post-doctoral researcher in colorectal cancer and liver cancer at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Zhang has over 20 years of clinical experience, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal cancer and retroperitoneal tumors, and is an expert in laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Zhang serves as Deputy Director of Ward II in Peking University Cancer Hospital’s gastrointestinal center, and Director of the hospital’s Infection Control Department. Beginning in 2007, he was appointed Chief of Surgical Oncology at Peking University Cancer Hospital United Family International Clinical Center.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Zhang has several papers published in prominent medical journals.
