Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Newton received her medical degree from Flinders University of South Australia in 1991, graduating with honors. She was awarded the Flinders University Medal as the top student of her graduating class.
Dr. Newton completed her residency training in Family Medicine in the Australian state of South Australia in 1996, and was the top candidate within Australia for the Family Medicine Fellowship examination that year. Her residency comprised hospital training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia, as well as dedicated training completed in several family medicine practice settings in urban and rural South Australia.
Dr. Newton has over 25 years of clinical experience. Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, she continuously practiced family medicine in urban and rural areas of Australia, providing comprehensive care to her patients in clinic and inpatient settings.
Dr. Newton enjoys providing personalized care to her patients of all ages.
Dr. Newton holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Diploma of Obstetrics awarded by the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
