Dr KL. Liu received his degrees in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) and Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He completed fellowship training at several hospitals in the United States, including Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, University of California San Diego, Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Shriners Hospital, and Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Liu has rich clinical experience, with a specialty in pediatric orthopedics, including spine problems such as scoliosis and thoracoscopic anterior intervertebral disc release. His lower limb and hip expertise includes osteotomies and corrections, developmental dysplasia (DDH), and post-infantile septic arthritis. Dr. Liu is well known for his ability to treat foot problems like club feet, flat feet, and spasticity. His research and clinical practice, combined with his passion for his patients, have made him capable of treating trauma related to physical injuries and growth disturbances.
Dr. Liu is a Fellow in Orthopedics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Orth).
